nudging

Nudging is great if we believe the data from the US and UK report for behavioral economics. So most of the successful presented data, like: “In 11 of the 15 randomized controlled trials, behavioral “nudges” like reminders or simplified, personalized letters had a statistically significant impact on at least one primary outcome.“ (SBST, p.11) But the crucial thing is that we don’t really know why they act like that, we only measure and track them.

As a an expert in Direct Marketing ab initio I think „nudges“ are a great possibility to improve public policies.
